This hotel is actually a solid hotel with good ratings, close by to a lot of stuff in NYC, also closed to the subway station which I highly recommend knowing how to use if this is your first time visiting NYC because cabs/uber prices adds up! We saved alot utilizing the subway and it’s part of the NY experience. This hotel has great service it has a fridge and a microwave, a 2 for 1 body wash and shampoo and lotion/hand soap in the bathroom. Not luxurious but it’s a great value with good location in NY

Great location at a fair price. The rooms are small, but clean. No daily housekeeping (extra charge if needed), but plenty of clean towels available. Cool speakeasy downstairs.

Great location, close to everything! Rooms were small, but who needs a big room in NYC anyway? Front desk & house staff were all super friendly and made our stay enjoyable. Would 100% recommend

I found this hotel while searching for somewhere for my family with two kids, age 11 and 17 to stay for one night in the city. It was difficult to find anything with availability, even close to affordable, and located near Events we were doing. I was pretty sure I did a quick search on reviews and everything looked OK, but of course after I booked it, I started reading some reviews that worried me. We had a wonderful experience. I think the price was decent considering what you pay in the city. The room was very small, but that was to be expected as well. I found the room to be clean and as advertised. We did have a private bathroom, which I’m reading not all rooms do. Also, we had a decent size fridge and microwave which is more than I can say for hotels I’ve booked that were four/five times the size. I thought the bunkbeds were queen over queen, but apparently the top bunk was only a twin which left us cramped for sleeping. The room was too small to fit a cot, but Elaine at the front desk was amazing and she suggested that we just get the cot mattress and linens and use that which was a perfect solution for my son. The cat was to our room within five minutes.I found the beds to be quite comfortable and had no problem sleeping with noise or activity, which actually surprised me. We were close to everything we wanted to do and I had no issues with staff. Based on my personal experience, I would definitely stay here again.

I booked a standard double room with private bathroom for a 1 night weeknight stay via Expedia. My room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. There's a code to get in the building and a code that you use to lock and unlock your room. The room is small but was clean with a comfy bed and most importantly was blasting AC when I arrived as NY was going through a major heatwave during my visit. The bathroom was short on counter space but the shower was nice and looked like it had been semi recently updated. I thought it was a good sized room for 1 person but I think it would be a little cramped trying to fit 2 people plus luggage. They claimed no luggage storage, however, in the check-in instructions they say they can store luggage between 10am and 3pm. I ended up using Bounce instead to store luggage as I arrived before 10am and had a late flight back the next day.
